Catalina Bizic

Catalina Bizic is currently an LL.M. student with Penn State Law and holds an LL.B. and LL.M. in International Arbitration from the University of Bucharest. Catalina was a semifinalist in the Willem C. Vis moot and currently coaches the Penn State Law team. She is also the LL.M. President of the Penn State International Arbitration Group (PSIAG). She was a Team Leader for Brazil in the previous LatAm AIQ Campaign.

Muhamed Tulic

Muhamed Tulic is pursuing his LL.M. studies at Penn State Law. He graduated from University of Sarajevo with a bachelor and master degree in law. Muhamed is a team member of the Penn State Law Vis moot team and is also the secretary of the Penn State International Arbitration Group (PSIAG). He was in charge of Colombia as a country team leader in the LatAm AIQ Campaign.

Zrinka Mustafa Prelic

Zrinka Prelic is a Senior Associate at Divjak, Topic & Bahtijarevic Law Firm (Zagreb, Croatia). She graduated magna cum lauda from Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb and earned her LL.M degree at Penn State Law (PA, USA) in 2017, where her main focus was on arbitration and M&A. She was admitted to Croatian Bar Association in 2018.

Blerina Xheraj is an expert in investment arbitration and EU law. She holds law degrees from the University of Geneva, QMUL, University of Oxford and the University of Siena. Blerina combines her academic career with private practice experience in the field of IDR, and has contributed to the organizations of arbitration skills training workshops in Albania, Kosovo and Slovenia.

Dmitry Semashko

Ambassador for Belarus & Poland

Dmitry Semashko is the head of International Arbitration Group at SP&P, ranked by Chambers Europe in disputes in Belarus, focusing on cross-border and state-involved disputes. He is also a Humphrey Fellow at Washington College of Law, co-founder of Young ADR Belarus (mentoring program coordinator). He tutors at legal clinics, and is also a UNDP contributor, ABA and WJP expert

Fahira Brodlija

Ambassador for Bosnia and Herzegovina

Fahira Brodlija is an LLM graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a graduate of the Sarajevo Faculty of Law. Her main fields of interest are international arbitration and commercial law which she developed through the International Vis Moot competition in Vienna, where she was a participant and currently is a coach of the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law. Miss Brodlija is a member of Assocition ARBITRI, an NGO which gathers young lawyers in Bosnia and Herzegovina seeking to promote and improve the arbitration system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Velislava Hristova is a Bulgarian qualified lawyer and associate in the Arbitration & Litigation team of Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov & Velichkov. She holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration Law from Stockholm University and previously worked in the Stockholm’s office of an international law firm and a top-tier law firm in Bulgaria.

Jadranka Jakovcic is an associate in the International Arbitration group of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, New York office. She advises in both investment treaty and commercial arbitrations, with particular experience in cases conducted under the auspices of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. A Croatian national, Ms. Jakovcic has knowledge of both common law and civil law systems.

Antonin Sobek

Antonin Sobek is a trainee lawyer at Three Crowns LLP in Paris. He served as a research assistant in investment arbitration at Columbia University and University of Cambridge, and worked for WilmerHale and the ICC Secretariat. He holds an LL.M degree from LSE, and a MA degree from Sciences Po Paris in partnership with Columbia University and Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Maria Pihlak is a Senior associate in law firm Sorainen specializing in commercial and investor-state arbitration. Maria holds an LL.M. in international business and economic law from Georgetown University Law Center. She is a dual-qualified lawyer who is admitted to the bars of Estonia and the State of New York. Hence, she is a go-to adviser for investment restructuring and dispute resolution for clients based in the Baltics and the U.S.

Maia Mishveladze is a Performance Auditor at the State Audit Office and an invited lecturer at the University of Georgia. She is a graduate of M.A in International law from Tbilisi State University, as well as Master of Law and Business from Bucerius Law School/Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany), with a special focus on International Commercial Arbitration and M&A.

Dr. Rimantas Daujotas is an international disputes counsel at “Motieka & Audzevicius” PLP in Vilnius. Rimantas worked on a number of high profile international litigations in the Baltics, as well as the Court of Justice of the European Union. Rimantas is one of the leading individuals on investor-state disputes, WTO law and international arbitration in general in Lithuania and the Baltic Region. Rimantas is also a PhD scholar at Queen Mary University’s School of International Arbitration and also holds PhD in international law from Vilnius University. Rimantas held positions of Visiting scholar at Columbia Law School and the National University of Singapore.

Andrea Nikolić is a PhD student in International Arbitration at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, where she worked as teaching assistant and researcher. She previously interned in International Arbitration Group at Wilmer Hale in London.

Ingrid Muller is an experienced Romanian attorney with training in U.S. Law and with an International Arbitration LL.M.. She is currently pursuing two other master degrees, in Public International Law and European Law. She has multiple areas of expertise, from dispute resolution to human rights and is a published author on the topic of diversity in arbitration.

Ilda Kasa lectures on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Judiciary and Human Rights Activity at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. She holds a LLM in International Protection of Human Rights and a PhD in Law. She is the author of academic articles on arbitration and has been a speaker in different conferences.

Isidora Mitić is a Serbian lawyer with experience in International Trade Law and currently is a PhD Candidate in International Trade Law at Faculty of Law, University of Nis, prior to which she finished her LL.M. on the topic “Remedies of the parties in case of breach of contract under the CISG" and LL.B. in the same institution. She specializes in public and private National and International Trade law, International Contract Law, ICSID, WTO, M&A, Foreign Trade, CEFTA, CISG, which enables her to provide specialized advice on commercial disputes.

Marek Anderle is an Associate in Dispute Resolution and Private Equity/Venture Capital teams at Taylor Wessing Slovakia. Marek is currently pursuing the International Dispute Resolution LLM at Queen Mary University of London, focusing on both commercial and investment arbitration. Being an enthusiastic mootie himself, he recently became the coach of the Queen Mary University of London Vis Moot team and he also regularly sits as an arbitrator in international as well as national mooting competitions.
